The most expensive month is June (around 990 € a night), and the cheapest is October (around 621 €: 37 % less). Months with no bar have no rate loaded yet: the hotel may not have opened sales or released availability for those dates.

Real prices per night, taxes included, for 2 people, on weekdays (four dates per month). This is the cheapest rate, non-refundable; the rate with free cancellation costs around 11% more. In some seasons or on certain days of the week, the property may require a minimum stay of more than one night.Updated 26/10/2026.

June to August is the Icelandic summer: almost 20 hours of daylight, all roads open and the highest rates. From November to March the days are short, there’s snow and it’s northern lights season; storms can close Route 1, so it’s worth checking road conditions.

This was possibly the best accommodation we have ever had – in the world! What an amazing experience to stay in the glass case! The owners had thought of everything in here. It didn’t matter that you’re not near towns. Coffee was excellent, sauna was amazing!

How original it is and how every detail has been thought through – you can tell it was done with a lot of love. Using the sauna and the hot tub right in the middle of nature was a real luxury.

It was so cozy and had a great view of the volcano! It was fully equipped with everything we needed, including a comfortable bed and a kitchen stocked with pots and pans. We also really loved using the sauna and the jacuzzi.

Peaceful, elegant, connected with nature and beautifully decorated. A unique pleasure to enjoy the sauna in total privacy and have an aperitif with the best 360° view of the volcano and the countryside.
